Design and test your product
As you gain deepter insight from your customer discovery, you’ll want to consider making some rough sketches and ideas of what you want to build and test. Eric Reiss, author of Lean Startup, refers to this as a Build – Measure – Learn cycle. The idea is that you build a product, get it into the real world, measure customers’ reactions and behaviors, learn from this, and use what you’ve learned to build something better. The ultimate goal is to arrive at a minimum viable product (MVP) which is a product with just enough features to satisfy early customers, and to provide feedback for future product development.
A minimum viable product (MVP) is not always a smaller/cheaper version of your final product. Defining the goal for a MVP can save you tons of time, money and grief. — Steve Blank
In Design and test your product you will find the best practices to arrive at an MVP effectively.
