Questions? We may have the answer!
How is intellectual property (IP) handled within the program?

We do not take ownership of your IP. Instead, we provide support to help founders access grants and resources to effectively manage and protect their intellectual property.

What kind of support and resources are provided?

Coaching, access to experts for office hours. Participants gain exposure to international markets and receive support for investor and industry visibility at global conventions. Additional resources include grant opportunities through District 3, coworking space and a prototyping lab.

What kind of networking opportunities are available?

Our program offers extensive networking opportunities with clinical settings, investors, service providers, industry experts, and relevant government entities. Additionally, we facilitate connections with other innovation centers across Canada.

At what stage can I join District 3’s Healthcare programs?

We encourage you to reach out as early as possible, ideally once you have achieved proof of concept (link to build), so we can assist you in establishing your business effectively (launch & grow link). Depending on the stage of your startup journey.

What specific areas of healthcare innovation does the program focus on?

Our program supports a wide range of healthcare innovations, covering all medtech and healthtech verticals, including paramedical fields.
